  what is SELF energy   

Self energy is the calm, curious, compassionate core of who you are.

Underneath all your patterns, limiting beliefs, and survival strategies. Unharmed by the trauma you experienced.

It isn't something you have to build or earn — it's already within you.

 In this course, we'll be accessing Self energy through three lenses👇 

  3. Somatic Experiencing  

In SE, Self energy is the regulated, grounded body. A body that can feel sensation and emotion without getting flooded or shut down.

  2. Polyvagal Theory  

In Polyvagal Theory, Self energy is what you feel when your nervous system is in a ventral vagal state: settled, safe, and able to connect.

  1. Internal Family Systems   

In IFS, Self energy is the internal leader — the presence that can be with all of your parts without being overtaken by them.

I built this from my own healing. And I built it intentionally.

Every piece is in here because it worked for me, and every piece is where it is for a reason.

My recovery hasn't been a straight line. This is the path I'm walking — and now I'm walking it with you.

2. Somatic Parts Work  (Weeks 4-5)

This is the cycle you've been stuck in your whole life. You just didn't know it had a name. It's called the shame triangle: the inner critic, shame, and the escaper.

 

Over 2 weeks, we'll meet each of these parts in the body through a technique called RIM (Regenerating Images in Memory), a somatic method you can use to connect with any of your parts, for the rest of your life.

As a chronic intellectualizer, RIM was the thing that finally let me stop thinking about my parts and actually meet them.

3. Embodiment Practices  (Weeks 6-7)

This is where Self stops being a concept and becomes something you can actually feel in your body.

 

Over 2 weeks, we use conscious connected breathwork and guided embodiment practices to open somatic space and let you experience Self energy from the inside.

Feeling good in my body used to feel dangerous. Learning to let it in was some  of the hardest work I've done — and one of the biggest reasons I built this course the way I did.

 1.  Somatic Foundations  (Weeks 1-3)

Without this, nothing else lands. You have to be able to be in your body. Over 3 weeks, we build the capacity to actually be in your body, meeting it with calm, curiosity, and compassion.

 

Through nervous system regulation and Polyvagal Theory, you'll come away with a felt sense of safety in your body and a set of tools you'll use for the rest of your healing.

This is the stuff I didn't get to until 6 years into my own healing — and now I know it's non-negotiable. Everything else is supposed to be sitting on top of this.

 what makes this different 

 You're learning from a peer, not someone who's arrived. 

Most courses are sold by people at the top of the mountain. I'm not at the top — I'm in it. I did talk therapy for years and thought I was healed; I wasn't.

I was 6 years in before I realized somatic work isn't optional, it's the foundation. I've lived with functional freeze, chronic hypervigilance, the inability to do the things that would help. I built this from inside the work, not from above it.

I'm also certified in Tian Dayton's Relational Trauma Repair, so what I'm bringing has clinical grounding alongside the lived experience.


 The container itself is part of the healing. 

This isn't content delivery. Your nervous system learns regulation through co-regulation — by being in proximity to other regulated nervous systems. It's not something you can build alone.

  Who is this course NOT for?  

A few people I'd ask not to sign up:
 

  • People in acute crisis — active psychosis, untreated addiction, or current suicidal ideation. This is a group workshop, not stabilization care.

  • People hoping this will replace therapy or one-on-one clinical care. This course can deepen your healing — but it's a group somatic experience, not a substitute for the kind of one-on-one care some people need.

  • People who want to keep healing as an intellectual project and aren't ready to let their body into the room.

FAQ'S

Do I need any prior experience with somatic work, IFS, or parts work to join?

Nope. No prior experience needed — just a willingness to show up. I'll guide you through every step in a way that feels accessible, grounded, and trauma-informed. Whether you're brand new to this kind of work or you've been doing parts work for years, you'll be met exactly where you are.

When will I get access to The Shitshow community?

You'll get your invite to The Shitshow a week before the course begins, so you have time to settle in. Your 2-month membership kicks in then. If you'd like to continue after, it'll just auto-renew at the regular monthly rate of $29/month — and you can cancel anytime before that date if you don't want to stay.

What if I can't make a session live?
